Triple Negative BC

Thanks Diane. I had lumpectomy with axillary clearance, 6 rounds of chemo ( FEC and doxatocel), then 6 weeks of radiation. Glad it is all done, but energy levels took a beating and I am still very weary. But positive!

Hope all goes well with that. My Oncologist is uncertain about the need for BRCA testing for me as there's no family history, but I would like a hysterectomy as a precaution. Already had the bi lateral mastectomy. Will you have reconstruction a the same time? That's what I'm investigating now Chemo is over.

I am going to have a hysterectomy and mastectomy to my other breast. As I carry the BRCA 1 gene I am at greater risk of a reacurrence in those areas.

Last of my six cycles this week. Can't wait to get my health back on track. Seems to take a while huh! The tiredness is the worst!

Yes it does! I didn't have radiotherapy. the side effects to the Tax sound the same to what I experienced and I still get the aches but nothing like during the chemo.
