As you see, there are a lot of us, and we are here for you.
I finished chemo in July last year, and agree with the girls that a portacath certainly made life a lot easier. It was put in under twilight sedation and is not a major op. Only 3 days later they were using it for chemo, and it was removed again in October. It was the best decision I ever made.
It is exactly a year since my diagnosis - tnbc - and after chemo/radiation/surgery I am feeling practically back to normal. You will get through this. Just take one day at a time and don't look too far ahead. The time will pass more quickly than you think.
