Hi Narelle,
I went through surgery, chemo and radiation when I was 42, for triple negative breast cancer. It was a very scary time and I read far too much on the internet. I was lucky enough to go to the National Breast Cancer Summit in Melbourne and I listened to Dr Fran Boyle. She said that her opinion was that Triple Negative was a fairly new term and the statistics available were from a fairly small sample of people.
It has been a hard road back after cancer but I try to look on it as a positive experience. I learnt so much about myself and got to meet some great people. It was a wake up call for me in many ways.
Good luck with it all Narelle and keep posting on here - that was my lifeline!
