Trip to the energency room ??

Well today ended being interesting, Around 7 hours up the emergency room.

No wonder I was so sick most of the week. Had 2 areas of fluid accumulation after the op. One area was 6cm.

A few needles later, they drained the fluid build up. On new antibiotics as well, so hopefully I start improving soon.

On the upside my daughter Sarah was great company and helped pass the time. Other plus was lovely staff, great surgeon done the procedure and he was easy on the eye with a great sense of humour. We laughed so much it was ridiculous, lol.

Onwards and upwards now ??

  • Hi Kazza,

Sorry to hear about all that fluid, it can be so painful.  Glad to hear it's out and you're on antibiotics.

Laughter and eye candy certainly makes it a more pleasant experience! Lol.

Rest up and take it easy.

    Karen xx

  • Hey Kazza, glad you took yourself to hospital & got some answers. Hope you improve quickly now. Having good staff caring for you makes such a difference, especially a doctor that's easy to look at - they're rare as hen's teeth. Keep smiling, Lyn

Hi Kazza, that's so frustrating that you had to spend some time at the hospital. It's difficult to process your whole recovery without glitches like this one. Hope that you're back to your old self soon. Take care, Tracey B ????

  • Hi Kazza not great that you ended up in hospital, but at least you now know what tha pain was. It does help when the doc is easy on the eye. Great your daughter was there to support and entertain you. Onwards and upwards as Karen has saidxx

  • Oh Kazza

sorry to hear that you have been feeling lousy but I'm glad you took yourself off to the hospital. Hopefully now you can start to pick up. Keeping a sense of humour does help. Take care. Karen xox
