Hi Slonmiski, I've been on Tamoxifen since I completed all my other treatments in 2021. It was initially difficult to adjust to as I wasn't in menopause when I started treatment and it was only induced by my chemo but now my menopause is well established I don't notice any specific symptoms.
Even when I was experiencing symptoms - hot flushes, sweating, sleep disturbance, low grade nausea it was all manageable compared to everything that went before it in the treatment journey. I trialed another aromotase inhibitor last year but found the side effects overwhelming so I'll be on Tamoxifen for minimum 10 years due high risk of recurrence.
I think all the usual advice really applies for incorporating it into your system - lots of hydration and lots of physical movement in whatever way is good for your body. I see it as one of the many things I can do to maintain the best health I can. Is your oncologist recommending for you?
