I'm now 9 days post my mastectomy and feeling better every day. I have been very tired and lethargic but today was the first time I didn't feel the need to take anything for the pain during the day....

Fluid build up is very normal and it will settle down soon. Your body will start taking it up by itself.
It's good news nothing has spread to your nodes. Do you have a McGrath Breast Care Nurse? If so has she ordered MY journey Kit and free soft form bra? Its so full of information but you can also find the information on this wedbsite if you search through all the menu's.
This is a great place if you have questions or just what to make contact with other members going through the same as you. I hope all goes well with your oncologist tomorrorw. Take someone with you so they can take notes because you probably wont remember a word they say.
