Treatment for Radiotherapy Burns

Hi All.

As we all leap these hurdles in our own way its all trial and error.

But I have come across a cream for the aftermath of radiotherapy burns. The product is called QueenBEE Rapid Bee Repair. It is so worth a go as it worked wonders for me. Burns soothed and healed totally within 8 to 10 days after treatment finished. Di Elliott is the lady who produces the product and she is extremely helpful. It costs $23.50 on line. The product is waxy but scrape out of container with an icypole stick and rub in hands until soft and gently massage into affected area 3 times a day. It also has so many other great uses. My Plastic Surgeon was amazed at how well my skin had healed. So please ladies give it a go. U wont be dissapointed.

Keep Fighting

Luv Rach.

  • Yep, I got mine very promptly too. Have put it aside for September when my radiotherapy is scheduled to start.

  • Hi again, If you are considering placing an order, I thought I'd share my experience with you. I placed an order for a range of products (some for me, some as gifts) late Friday afternoon. On Monday I received a call saying that I hadn't included my address when I completed my order (let's blame chemo brain for that one!) so I quickly rectified that issue... My entire order was then received, via express post, by Tuesday lunchtime. Wonderfully efficient!

  • Hi Rach,

This is Annie from BCNA's Policy Team. It's great to hear that you have found something that works to help your radiotherapy burns, and great that you are sharing the news with other women too.

BCNA recently surveyed members of our Review & Survey Group to ask them about their personal experiences with radiotherapy burns, and what skin care tips they would offer to other women, to help prevent or manage burns. We listed women's skin care tips on the right hand side of this webpage.

Like you, many women told us that applying certain topical creams and ointments to their skin really helped, as well as other things like avoiding tight clothing and sun exposure.

Thanks again for sharing your tip Rach!
