Treatment Day

Only once a month but always seems to come too soon. Did ok today the needle went in first go. I have become a bit of a patient to avoid. My portacath is in a really weird place (according to the nurses, I have never seen another) and it is quite hard to get it in. I am having Bondranate (excuse spelling) and it always mades me feel really unwell for a couple of days. Like u have a really bad cold. Body aches, sore joints, really lethargic and generally unwell. Anyway, it is still better than chemo and I get to keep all my hair lol.

    lol. U r right about the cannula!! I rather have the portacath than trying to find a vein each time.

    I hope the effects of the Bondronat pass quickly. I have a porttht my current chemo place is scared of - lol - usually get it going after a few tries - better than a cannula though! I hope you continue to do well. A x
