Treatment after mastectomy

Hi, I had a left mastectomy 3 weeks ago with lymph nodes removed. My cancer is ER/PR+ HER2- Pathology came back with no cancer in nodes and all margins clear. I’m waiting to see oncologist now for further treatment options, but just wondering if anyone has been through similar and not had any chemo or radiation?

    I had the same as you.  Nodes was clear.  No chemo or radiotherapy either.   Only 1 tablet of taxmofen each day.   It has been 8 mths now … all good.  Hope this help ..

    Best wishes for your next appointment and future treatment. I had a similar diagnosis and only one cancerous lymph node but that’s one too many. You may be given options -  a full course, a lesser one or none so the decision may really rest with you. It’s worth considering how much you want to feel you have done everything you can to avoid a recurrence. No-one wants chemo, but reactions do vary a lot and for some it’s not been too bad. Here’s hoping you get a clear go ahead for an easier course.
