Treatment a few weeks away
I can't believe that it is already November the last three months have just flown by from suspicion of breast cancer until now. My reports have been all good except for a lesion on my right kidney, which I was informed last night was benign I am still none the wiser as to what it is, something to do with the adrenal gland not the kidney itself possibly as a result from my hormones. My Oncologist wants me to have more investigative tests only blood and urine one this time no scans. I am supposed to start radiation treatment in about 5 weeks just in time for christmas. Today I took my first hormone therapy tablet and and that leaves only 1799 to go over the next five years. I went back to work just over two weeks after surgery I was going potty just hanging around the house doing little all. Even though I still tire easliy I am loving being back at work. I still consider myself as being one of the lucky ones it just goes to show that if your body is telling you something is wrong get it checked out. I know of several other people that have different types of cancer and are doing it tough. So I think of them everytime I have a test, scan etc, someone is always worse off then me. Iam pleased to say several of my friends and acquaintances have or are about to have mammagrams, we to go girls. That all for now Lynne
