Hi Colleen, just wondering whether some laser work by the physio might help your pain. I had some on my breast reconstruction site ( tissue expanders ). one side was constantly tight and painful, and the skin around the area hypsensitive. The plastic surgeon had no suggestions, but the physio thought it would help, and it did. I was worried about developing capsular contracture on this side due to the pulling and squeezing that seemed to be happening. I had 5 sessions and it has worked so well. This breast is now soft and pliable, and all the weird sensations have gone. The PS was happy for me to have a go. This laser works on breaking up scar tissue and encouraging the growth of collagen. It would work well on scar lines too, and I will be back for more if required. I have my exchange surgery today, and if either of my 2 new boobs gets any pain, other than what is expected, I will visit the physio sooner rather than later. This laser was an accidental find, as I had gone to the physio for some lymphodema measurements. Glad I did that. Love Chris xx.
