TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY!!!! SURGERY DAY

Hi Donna, 

I went through the same procedure last Thursday.

Had my radioactive dye last Wednesday, sorry to tell you, mine went in next to nipple, no local , cause that's two needles instead of the dye being just 1,hurts like hell. Then waiting for dye to move through lymph, about 90 mins, then pics taken and ct scan.Thursday morning 2 hook wires put in under ultrasound, local given , the wiresare taped but poke into you every time you move.2 hrs later went to hospital, had an injection to prevent blood clots, then had to wait 2 hrs, then op.

2 1/2 hrs of surgery , 40 mins in recovery then up to ward.

i felt OK, very bruised, no pain but given panadol anyway, I didn't a drain, 

Home the next day , stiff and sore , but after 4 or 5 days feeling good.
