Tomorow is round 1 with chemo

I didnt sleep very well leading up to my treatment. I didnt want to cry despite the tears being there. I was amazed and still am at how little the first treatment affected me, I went in expecting the worst, my anxiety levels are still up at the moment,waiting, waiting, waiting for any of the side effects, I am thankful I havent experienced much at this point and I have my fingers crossed for you Jodie that your anxiety will be the worst you feel.

Im not even in bed yet. I cant sleep. Dont want to sleep because of what happens tomorow :(

I know its the worry about the unknown, and you girls have just gone through it but I want to cry. Im terribly anxious.

I know I can do it, but the tears keep falling.

Hi Jodie, I had my first dose of FEC on the 31st Oct, my anxiety levels were through the roof not knowing what to expect, I sat in the chair waiting for the nurse, as she approached me I burst into tears but within minutes she explained what to expect I felt alot calmer and it wasnt a bad experience at all.

Jodie...I'm in my PJ's now.....feeling no different to how I felt last night!  You will get thru this and I look forward to a pic, smiling too! The anticipation is always worse than actually going through the process.....just follow all the wonderful advice from everyone......I've been drinking so much water and plan on a walk tomorrow morning just like Robyn suggested! Keep moving...drink lots of water and take the anti-nausea meds like Janey said!

Big hugs....just relax and and enjoy the fact that this is going to be a great treatment for your body...not a bad thing! Get tomorrow over with and you'll be even stronger next time knowing you got thru it! Tomorrow when you got your pj's on you'll only have 2 left!!!!
