thanks. I know it's early days but so far I've had a couple of days of thinking I might be nauseous, yesterday was vicious heartburn and today the skin on my hands looked dry and peeling. I found 3 hairs on my dinner plate last night. On the day of my chemo I went straight to the hair dresser and got it cut to about 1/2 inch to ease me and my family and friends into the new anticipated look. Then later I went to a Bosom Buddies support group coffee meeting. the next day I went to try on turbans, wigs and scarves. All this accompanied by my beautiful middle daughter.
What I am getting at is that maybe the chemo doesn't have to be as horrible as one hears. and anyway, I refuse to talk about myself as an invalid or that I have an illness. I got through being nauseous and having heartburn during my pregnancies and that was for 9 months 4 times! I can handle 4 months. *she says with great trepidation and a large amount of bravado*
What ever decision you make with be the right one at the time.
