Hi @Maree72. Though its 7 years since my first run at radiation. My breast externally feels the same to touch prior to rads. I didn’t have the strataXrt for my rads. I used sorbolene cream the only thing offered. this is from my experience only.
The rads is so much easier than everything else
I had 25 rounds over the whole left side sternum to collarbone to armpit. Took 6 weeks to complete
apparently i had high dosage. I did go quite pink. And the scar line got pretty nasty i was a bit annoyed at the lack of checking it was the tech team that spotted it basically happened over the weekend i didn’t feel it. It was just very warm all the time to me

I lathered myself in the sorbolene frequently and kept doing it even after the treatment is finished as the radiation keeps working. I actually still moisturise
my breast is smaller than the other but that was due to the surgery
you will find as time goes on definitely you will start to feel tiredness from the treatment nothing dramatic though.

I was also advised to get a natural body wash. The girls at my chemist knew exactly what i needed. And Because ive been using the same chemist for 20 years, helps that they know me well. And have been very supportive.
Others on here will have other great advice
things have changed even in the 7 years since my rads
