Tingles
This must be what the tingles feel like..... here I am on day 14 of my first round of Taxotere. I have had the full ride so far - festy mouth, sore throat, indigestion, aching legs, exhaustion, headac...
You are not fussing - losing your hair is underestimated. It's really hard to cope with.I would look in the mirror and not recognize myself -felt I had lost my identity at times.I bought an expensive real hair wig and I really didn't wear it that much cos it itched like hell. Also you have to wash and maintain the style with real hair. It's good to have for special occasions but you would only wear it for a few hours. I bought most of my head stuff from www.headcovers.org , cheap and delivered to your door.I wore caps out cos they didn't scream chemo patient! Even when chemo is over, it takes many months for hair to start growing back.I reckon I have a degree in head management!
