It's quite normal to feal scared that cancer could already be growing. We all get that. But at this time you have no reason to think that. Keep talking yourself through those fears, normal yes, but think... I will finalise this part so I can get on with my life with much less fear. Hope all goes smoothly for you and ever so slowly you will think of yourself as a survivor.
Energy levels will return. I started to feel better after about 7 weeks after chemo. I returned to work 4 hours a day 5 days a week. I was exhausted at the end of the day. I had become so unconditioned. I persisted. I started doing 10 minute walks extra. Then I'd walk in my meal breaks. 9 months on I am back to full time. I haven't quite got back yet all my energy levels but I feel well enough for a full on days work. I still need more help at home. A cleaner weekly. Others cooking tea a couple days a week. Resting more. Exercise on weekends. You will get there. You just need time for your physical energy and mental energy to return. I can't stress enough how physical exercise, like short walks, can help that. I also had some counselling just before and after starting work to help me on the road to healing my mind...the most damaged part in this journey, as it can just rob us of joy in our life if we can't heal that also.
