Thyroid removed

Hi everyone, Thank you for all your lovely encouraging comments. I have good reults from pathology and ssurgeon on the 8th Nov. He got all the thyroid out,,,no damage to voice box nerves ( so I have my voice still and dont sound like darren lockeyer)

I still will have to go to see DR Pratt - Rad Oncologist- visiting Bundy on 2 dec. Will arrange appointment in brisbane for radio active iodine injections to kill any left over cancer which may be still lerking. Stay in isolation ward for a few days till all radioactive stuff is out of my system.

Then the next thing is abnormalities in my small bowel following CT scan. My have to have colonoscopy and camera down throat to check things out but that may not be until early next year.

So my journey continues...just as you get one thing under control andother pops its ugly head up.

Lucky I'm made of tough material and kick it's arse each time it shows up.
