Hi Kathy. I love the thought of your son now being 23 - I (of course) hope and aspire to see my two young sons become big grownup 20somethings.
I've only had aching and a teeeeny bit of swelling so far, but booked in to see a local OT who specialises in lymphoedema. She did some baseline measurements (which she thought looked OK) and gave me lots of good advice - she's teaching me about manual drainage at another session next week. I'm also off to a lymphoedema ed session at the hospital tomorrow - hopefully after all this I'll be well prepared to do as much as I can to respond to any symptoms.
