Thoughts on 3D nipple tattoos

Hi,

Just wondering of all the girls who have had either 3D nipple tattoos alone or combined with nipple reconstruction, what do you think? Is it worth while and would you recommend it?

Also who performed it for you - I am in Victoria and not sure of the best person to see.

I am way off - dont have exchange for permanents for another 2 months, just trying to plan ahead and get things right in my mind.

    Hi Dancing with Ned, was your tattooist Carmel in Mount Pleasant? I'm from WA too and have been told about her from my surgeon at The Mount Breast Clinic. I am due to have the exchange in December, nipple construction towards the end of January and then tattooing. So please tell me does it hurt? I have never had a tattoo so I am not looking forward to it however I am keen to finish of the breasts after everything else may as well. My surgeon showed me a photo of a nipple he had created and that had been tattooed and I couldn't tell the difference it was truly amazing work. Just wish they could put the feeling back into it although grateful for what I am receiving.

    Hi There...I had the tattoo...the plastic surgeon made a small nipple just by cutting and pulling together some of the breast skin, and then tattoist did the rest.  I am really happy I had the tattoo as I'd thought I wouldn't bother but it just seemed to finish off the breast and detracts from the scar going across my reconstruction.  I had a cosmetic tattooist who was recommended by my plastic surgeon...but I'm in WA so not much help to you:) Good luck with it all...
