I'm sorry to hear that you need more surgery. Just when you think you are nearly done with hospitals they want you back for more. I had 3 ops in 14 days before my chemo, it really takes it out of you. But you got through chemo and you will get through this!
You mentioned you need to see another surgeon - is that because of the ovaries? Will the same surgeon do everything or will you need 2 surgeons in on the next surgery? Do you know what this next surgery involves - is it more lymph node removal?
I will have 2 surgeons in on my next surgery which I'm fine with - it just took a while for them to coordinate everything and book the date. I haven't even thought about the expense yet, that's nearly as scary as the op itself (LOL).
I hope it gets organised quickly for you so that you can get it over and done with and feel better before Christmas. You might need to do your Christmas shopping online this year - it could help ease some of the boredom. Maybe we should all recommend great sites to buy from to help each other out.
