Today I chose my new hair. If I was choosing hair for a fancy dress it would have been fun. I didn't realise how confronting it would be, it becomes more real.

Yes it is time to shave it off. Your scalp will be tender and the stubbly bits can hurt on the pillow for a bit. I wore a sleeping cap (so sexy.....not) for a while until I adjusted. I started wearing my wigs for a short time with a liner. Yes they are hot and can get a bit uncomfortable. I carried a little stretchy turban for a quick change if it got too much but unlike other brave women, the scarf, turban thing just wasn't me. I am in Oman now and it is hot. I still wear my wigs all of the time when out. I swim in my old sleeping caps! I bought a great big white sun hat from the gotcha covered site in Au. It is adjustable.
