Today I chose my new hair. If I was choosing hair for a fancy dress it would have been fun. I didn't realise how confronting it would be, it becomes more real.

I know that feeling Vicki. I am shedding hair everywhere today. I feel like Gretal but instead of leaving breadcrumbs to track my wanderings I am dropping hairs. I've chopped my hair short but feel it is nearly time to shave it. I have bought a wig in preparation for the inevitable but it is still all very daunting. I love Julie's positive comment. Let us both hope that we will share her experience and grow to love our new looks. Xx
