Sorry to hear about your trip to the dark side Kaz.Similar thing happened to me when I went to Westmead hosp.I had no white cells and was put in isolation for 4 days.The room wasn't very clean but what worried me was the full sputum/suction bottle on the wall from the previous patient.Also I had to fend for myself with an iv stuck in the middle of my right arm so couldn't bend it. I'm an "old school"nurse and I think cleanliness and care in hospitals have gone to the dogs.Just roll with the chemo punches cos each day can be unpredictable,rest lots even when you feel good!
