Well done Celeste! You can now cross that one off. Isn't it amazing how our bodies cope with so much over the BC journey. These things do make life so much easier as Jane said. I diiscovered something yesterday too. Don't mind sharing though when I told my hubby his comment was " some things should stay in the Ivy suite, only!!! Too much info!!" I'm on weekly taxol/herceptin ( 6 down now and 6 to go!!). When the nurse put in the dex ( anti nausea med/steroid) I shuddered like I had an itchy nether region. She said some people do this if the dex is pushed in ( by syringe only by nurse) too quickly as it effects the soft tissue down there and fells like you have an itchy bum!!! The things we learn!! Now I know it isn't just me! ( hope this was't too much for you!!! I'm over being a prude!!) Like the breast nurse the nurses at my treatement centre have heard everthing. Nothing is sacred and they are so easy to talk to about anything! Often we can have a bit of a laugh as well to ease the stress of all of this.
Hope things continue to go well,
Thinking of you and all our pink sisters.
Love Alison xxx
