The new network
Hi all not sure about the new network look, having terrible trouble using it. The other one was much more user friendly. Is anyone else finding it difficult or is it just me. Help! Adeanxxx

- I have just lost my message. I wanted to say that as an Ipad user, I haven't in the past had any issues with this site. Now I am having problems, so I don't feel that things have been change dto help us use it with an ipad or tablet.
- I have always used my ipad on this site without issue, but now I am struggling like everyone else. I don't feel it has been altered to make it easier to use on a tablet, as it seems harder than ever to navigate through now.
- Hi Kylie I sent an email to BCNA last night re this so hopefully it will be fixed quickly to protect the personal information of members. I live in a small town and no-one knows I have BC so I am not happy about it at all. I have gone in to my Profile, done an Edit - I have changed my name on that for now. I am not happy about this dishonesty but that is the only way I could see to limit the damage. I have not had a reply from BCNA. Have a happy day. Summer :-)

- agreeing with everyone !!!!! thought I had sent a post from my tablet (mobile device !!!) & can't see it......& now have to log in every visit too. I'm not particularly good with these "posting" type sites anyway but now I'm really struggling. Hopefully my post might pop up some time. Carmel
- Hi Daina, my husband is an electronic/computer engineer. He said he thinks this site is now designed for use on mobile phones only and is no longer a site designed for easy use on PCs any more. He said most places have two sites, one for each, but that he doesn't think you have done that. Instead we no longer have a site for easy use on PCs. In order to cater for people viewing it on mobile or tablet. I think that may be a bad choice for the online members. I know I would prefer something I can easily use on my PC as we had before, and I suspect most of us would. Can you ask the members what they would use more? Better still, instead of a choice, would it be possible for you to construct the site the way he says most professional are done now, ie with two sites in one, each with correct resolution and layout and navigation etc for its own application?.
A number of suggestions on changes that might help:
Perhaps there could be a choice between two sites, one for phone and one for PC and let us keep using the old one for PCs?
The text needs to be smaller for PCs,
The navigation system is no longer logical and easy to find our way around. It now seems to have far too much on the page, to no longer use text boxes with links. When accessing messages, there is a full list of messages with full text on each, which does not work..
Also there is no easy access to feed,
And full names appear, not just usernames, which may be a problem for people.
Also why are our names coming up instead of our profile names?
Why is the date format also the american way, I just went into my messages and the dates are month first then day.... aren't we i Australia and write the date day/month/year???
Not a fan so far, hopefully it improves......
