The dreaded day has come....

I stood at the kitchen bench this morning as I do every other day, a cup of coffee in hand and my meds for the taking.  There it was, this tiny, insignificant, little white tablet with the "A" marked on it!  I happily took my usual tablets without a thought and then this "little bugger" stopped me in my tracks and I just looked at it.  So this was what had been on my mind for such a long time now, this was what I had to look forward to when I finished radio.  Such a tiny little thing to be so scared of, but it's gone now, "down the hatch" and so I go on to enter another phase of this disease, five years of looking at this "A" every morning, after time I guess it will hopefully be my friend and not cause too many problems, but this morning, it sure stopped me in my tracks and made me think about the journey I was on, about the past few months, and hopefully with my friend "A", a brighter future ahead.

Just venting as I know you ladies will understand.    Dale xx
