The difficulty of choosing optional treatment
Hi, has anyone else been in a position where they have had a hormone sensitive tumour and been offered +/-chemotherapy aswell if I want to have it?
Terrible position to be put in.

Perhaps you can look at the new oncotype DX test which determines your risk of cancer returning. There is info on this site about it. I believe you have to pay for it yourself. Failing this you could ask for the statistics with and without for your cancet size and type and take into consideration your age and health. ..all might be helpful. I'm have chemo due to her2 pos and ES pos. Kath x
