On Wednesday, 11th November, I got my diagnosis. I was blindsided. I had convinced myself that the extensive bruising from a core biopsy was as bad as things were going to get. Lol.

Oh my goodness, I thought I was ready about myself. I had a biopsy on Wednesday and found out that I am likely to need a mastectomy. I am so scared and also have 2 young children in primary school. I have amazing support, and know that I am very lucky but it doesn't help - especially at night time when I am alone with my thoughts.
