Hi Jo - wow, what an inspiration you are!!! Thank you so much for connecting with me - I really appreciate it. I was unsure what to expect actually when I started to write about my 'cancer journey' - friends and family had been encouraging me to write about it on my other blog for a while now but I didn't really feel ready until now, and I also didn't know if I wanted to feel that vulnerable to the wider audience. But, this network feels like a very safe space and I'm really happy that I've started to share. I absolutely love love love all the things you said about how you've never been happier - I know it sounds crazy but I believe it! I never would have thought I would be in this place where I'm learning to be positive and happy despite what's happening to me - I've always been a very externally motivated person - and even though its taken me a few months to get to this part of the journey, I feel ready to embrace whatever beauty and joy I can as part of the experience. And you're so right - gratitude for the little things is just so important. Thank you for sharing with me :)
