I always felt better after day 10 or 11 too, which is strange when you consider this is actually when our immune system is at its lowest!
I found over the counter indigestion tablets did nothing for me during chemo. When I told my onc about the issues I was having she prescribed something (can't remember the name of it) which worked really well. I found letting the doctor know what side effects you were having, they usually had a medication to help.
