Hi Lovley Ladies
Thank you so much for your welcome. Seems as you are a little further along your journey and I hope it will become easier as it goes along.
To put you in the picture, I had my right breast removed and 27 nodes on 25th June. Pathology 25mm grade 3 invasive ductal cancer with 1 node involved with oestrogen 95% positive. Surgery went well and I found the advice of walking helped me immensely as I started day 4 after surgery, walked every day up till first chemo FEC which slowed me down for a week. Treatment is 3 cycles FEC then 3 cycles of Docetaxel followed by Arimidex for 5 years.
Not sure about reconstruction. Before surgery I felt it was a no question but now I think with what is ahead I will have to see.
I am one of the lucky ones with a most beautiful husband who has been my rock. I feel so much for the ladies who
don't have that support.
Thank you for taking the time to reply and I will follow everyone progress through their long journeys.
Love J
