Testing times

After a very stressful week of testing, I just went to the surgeon and all my tests for metastatic cancer have come back clear.

The surgeon said he was particularly worried that the cancer might have spread to my bones as I had visited my GP in January complaining about severe pain in my back and hip.

Fortunately though this week's scans reveal that I just have arthritis in those areas! What a relief!

I can say in all honesty it was probably the happiest moment of my life thus far!

Basically I am now booked in for surgery to remove my right breast and lymph nodes in my right underarm on Tuesday at 3pm.

I am still scared but in some ways can't wait to get the whole operation over and done with asap.
