I think Donatello and Raphael ?
Is the pain muscular or pulling in the scars?
I went straight to silicone implant without the expanders and had SHOCKING SHICKING pains in my pec muscles as they tried to learn their new position with the implants under them (I felt like I was being torn in half - this is mostly due to my body having a hard time due to a genetic connective tissue disorder I have, which effects my muscular skeletal systems amongst others, they kept me in for 14 days after my mastectomy/reconstrcution surgery on high dose pain meds and muscle relaxants and i was onyl allowed home with a hospital bed (which I still sleep in), as I couldn't get out of bed by myself for about 6 weeks after my surgery, but I can get out of it alone now, but as I had the bed for a while longer I still use it as it is VERY handy with my chemo as I can rest and sleep in the loungeroom and not all alone at the other end of the house (I suffer terribly from fatigue form my chemo and tend to rest and sleep a LOT).
Good Luck with getting them to stop fighting and to let you sleep (make sure you mention it to your treating team, as there are things they can do to help, as slep is very important for recovery).
