Don't be embarrassed. All those in that room understood that feeling of wanting to run.
I worked in an oncology unit in my early nursing days. Yet I was on the floor in the shower sobbing the morning before my chemo. I've added some wise words of Mr Churchill below. You showed courage today. You can do this.
I also had a reaction to taxol but I was able to continue on and complete it all.
