TC protocol, dexamethasone and type 2 diabetes
Hey ladies,
thank you for the thread Re general TC side effect experiences. Mum won’t use online forums, so wondering experiences with the combo of TC with dex, and for those who had dex and diabetes any particular tips? Onc gave dex script but didn’t explain it much to mum and I know can impact blood sugars. She doesn’t usually test regularly, just metformin and bloods every few months for sugars, but tips or ideas? Regardless how well intentioned, drs can focus on one thing/diagnosis/treatment rather than full picture and I have to explain everything to mum later as she doesn’t hear the drs or ask questions much so falls to me.
she is going to set up with cold cap, and starts first treatment in a few days. Thanks ladies and keep well and enjoy this turbulent but amazing life (a challenge but that focus helps me cope with everything I’ve experienced and am going through) 💗🌺
