I had no reaction to this but I have witnessed the crash cart being brought for others who have reacted badly to this. Very scary for you. I now call this chemo "Taxoterrible."
Don't panic about being taken off one component of your chemo, there are many other combinations that will be just as effective. If they still want you on a Taxane there are others to try. Taxol is usually much better tolerated than Taxoterrible, only it is administered weekly for 12 weeks.
