Taxotere

Hi Little Red
I am now day 10 after my first Tac dose. The Dr decided to reduce mine because I had some strange reactions to my FEC chemos.
The management of first 3 FEC doses was not as good as it should have been. Living in a regional area I opted to have my first chemo in Brisbane and then have the next two at my local hospital. I have learnt that this was not best decision I have made in my journey. When I went back to Brisbane for my first dose of Tac the Dr said, had she realise I had the trouble she would have been lowering those dose too, but she decide to lower this dose. Wow I am so glad she did. I called her after day five with the list of side effects and she was very pleased that she had lowered it, she also said that she wanted me to go back to Brisbane for the rest of my doses as she will look at reducing it further.
I guess if you trust your oncologist, keep a daily diary and talk to them about your side effects I am sure they will do what needs to be done.
Good luck with the rest of your treatment. All I can say I am now counting down for my last to treatments. Would love to hear how you go.
