I had the same chemo regime as you. The Taxol was a breeze. The AC hit me like a brick and put me in hospital. Pretty awful stuff.
Complete opposite with the Taxol. My head hair started to grow back. I was really well, still had funny taste buds but could eat so many more foods. I did get a really sweet tooth though and put on 8 of the 12kg i had lost. Naughty me!
My blood counts stayed stable - although they were below range. I went back to work 1 day a week and loved it.
I didn't take the Dexmethasone as we don't get along. I felt sick while I was being infused but I took a lot of anti-nausea medication and that would hold it at bay then I would go home and have a big sleep. Would be sluggish the next day then fine.
No fatigue, I was booming with energy. I did have the neuropathy kick in from abt treatment 8 or 9 but it wasnt too bad. 2 months later it is still there but I can live with that.
I hope the Taxol goes well for you. It goes so quickly when you look back. Just think of that manr, the journey of a thousand miles is made of single steps.
