I had 12 weekly Taxol, and didn't have any major side effects - in fact didn't have any until right at the end with some neuropathy in my toes and some light-headedness.
It is really important to take the pre & post medications you will be given, as it is easier to prevent side effects than to fix them. The Dexamethsone will probably have you cleaning the house at odd hours (we all seemed to!) but the insomnia only lasts while you are taking it, and no nausea is worth it.
I hope you have a trouble-free 12 weeks. Keep taking your temperature and report anything over 38. I found that green tea with ginger slices and an Arrowroot biscuit first thing in the morning very soothing (ginger is a natural anti-inflammatory) and playing a meditation cd helped with sleep when on Dex.
