Ive had 2 doses of Taxol after 3 x21days doses of Cisplatin with little side effects.No vomiting have put on 3kilos
First Taxol plan was every 21days but had such huge side effects they changed it to the weekly Paclitaxel (2 types of taxol).Day 2 after treatment started with bone pain in ankles,that night had bone pain up knees to hips eventually ribs.Buring foot pain walking on hot coals,toe nalis being pulled out.Then period pain and Diarrhoea 4 days.constant mild headache fog brain Did not leave house for 12 days for 10 of those days only walked to toilet..Now find out this is worse case scenario and should have called doctor instead of trying to last situation out,But all these symptoms were mentioned in the cancer booklets just thought I was unlucky to get so many at once.
Sodia crystals as foot bath help with burning,moisturise & having feet elevated.I took pain relief tablets.Keeping off feet.leaving shoes off so I could see my toes to convince myself nothing was pulling on my toe nalis
Had 2nd lower weekiy dose last week with little effect keep creaming feet and some peeling is happening tired, a little breathless,smidgin headache some pain tablets first night with little tingling(ants crawling over feet}tons better than first time.Have another dose today 11/02/15,
Expecting repeat of this time though in truth a lille anxious,not having so much pre dose dexamethosone as I did so well last week.
Sure you will be great,the weekly doses seem much better or I'm being a princess but not like the ones in Frozen.
