No i was given the mitts but i used bags of frozen peas on my toes, i know i looked weird but it worked for me. If they wont give you gloves i recommend taking the peas in their bag, inside a large ziplock bag, and just stick your nails where the frozen peas can chill them. I took them in in my trusty little lunch box type chilly bin.
No time for vanity here. My nails survived almost perfect.
