Taxol carboplatin

Hi @Jen79x, I found both AC and Taxol ok. AC hit me with fatigue for a couple of days after each treatment but that was pretty much the worst of the side effects for me. ( other than hairloss etc ) With Taxol again tiredness crept in towards the end of the 12 treatments but I think after 6 months of Chemo you're pretty much going to suffer that anyway. I did also have a little bit of cramping in my thumbs but nothing constant. I made sure that I rested when I could, exercised ( walked ) as much as possible and gargled 3/4 times a day to look after my mouth and gums. I hope I never have to gargle ever again I was sick of the sight of the mouthwash! Chemo is a lottery we never know what it will be like until we do it ,as all of us have varying reactions. For me thankfully it was pretty smooth sailing, hopefully you'll get through this one well too.
