I started my second month on Tamoxifen yesterday, and still going great.The only thing I have found, is that if I take it and don't eat my dinner STRAIGHT afterwards,I feel quite nauseous. The potential side effects of Tamoxifen get a lot of people very worried so it is good that you are posting about your positive experience with it, Robyn. I have been on it for almost 3 months and have not had any noticeable side effects. I was having a few hot flushes anyway because of chemo induced early menopause, so I can't blame tamoxifen for them. I am not having trouble maintaining my weight. No signs of depression or severe aches and pains. So far so good. I agree that you need to take it with a meal to avoid the nausea. :) Deanne xxx

Same for me. I was already having flushes and night sweats so I haven't noticed anything different either. Although I take mine with breaky and I notice a lot of people take there's at night. Is there a reason for that?

If you are not having any problems then I would just keep doing what you are doing. I was advised to take it at night because I eat a more substantial meal at this time and also because I was more likely to sleep through any mild nausea (which I did have for a couple of nights, although this may have been anxiety about side effects!). I was also told to drink a whole glass of water when I take it. It's going well for me so I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and hope for the best. Deanne xx
