I was diagnosed with EBC in April 2013, IDC's in both breasts so had bilateral mastectomy in May (skin sparing with tissue expanders). I did 6 months of chemo which I finished in mid November and started on tamoxifen on New Year's Day so I am 2 weeks in and so far have no side effects and chemo put me into menopause. I was able to continue working thru treatment and exercising as well. I now walk 8kms a day and feel that this is helping me physically and mentally.
