Very interesting. I have been on Tamoxifen for 6 months now and have been very lucky to only have mild hot flushes. They vary in number and sometimes I might only have 2 during the day and none at night, sometimes I have 4 in one evening before going to bed (I take my tamoxifen about 6pm most days). The only thing I have made a connection with for me is that they happen instantly if I get anxious or worked up about something.
In general I seem to have more trouble regulating my body temp now. I often get cold when no one else is cold and then get a hot flush after rugging up! I did read that this can sometimes be a lasting effect from chemo.
