Tamoxifen: to take or not to take?

Hi Louie, We must have a similar diagnosis. I started taking tamoxifen after radiation but while I was still on herceptin (just finished in Sep yippee). I was really nervous to start taking it having read so many negative things but I've been fine on it as long as I take it in the evening just as I'm going to bed. I've found the hot flushes manageable but these started during chemo anyway. My onc seemed to think the risk of uterine cancer was very small. I've done everything they've recommended but I don't have any family history complicating things. Another opinion might be worth it to help you decide. Barb xxx
