Just weighed myself in for the new year,as you do, and shock,horror,I've put on 2 kilos.It's either xmas or Tamoxifen.Can't blame chemo cos that was last July and I actually lost 2 kilos then.Went on the ice block diet all last week during the heat wave.Also did intensive flailing about in the pool each day.The results - added on another half kilo! So am blaming Tamoxifen.Anyone else getting fat on Tamoxifen?

I hope I dont put on any when i start tamoxifen. I am putting on the kilos like you wouldnt believe just with Chemo. I have put on 10 kilos since starting chemo on 24th dec last year. Its depressing when I go for chemo and weigh in. More kilos. I am having trouble fitting in my clothes and have to go find more. I think Vinnies is my first stop. My first 3 chemos were FEC. MY next 3 round will be Doxcetaxel + Herceptin then just Herceptin (3 weekly) for a year. Then I think I have Tamoxifen for 5 years.
I am also interested in finding out if anyone else has put on weight with Tamoxifen.
