Hi @Garnet70, this happened to me on tamoxifen after 20 months. The shortness of breath really hit hard. I could hardly get up stairs. After discussing with my oncologist I had a break for 6 weeks off it. I felt amazing after 3 weeks off it. However my risk profile meant I needed to go on hormone suppression for 5 to 10 yrs. I have now been on Letrozole for 6 weeks. So far I am ok. Go talk to your dr. It may not be the same result as me but tamoxifen does have breathlessness as a side effect and you need it checked.
