Rant away... need to get that frustration out.
And surgeons are no good at communication (in my experience at least). They kind of see us as slabs of meat and have their own strong opinions on what is to be done and block off anything else :(
I second what Brenda suggested. Talk to the breast care nurse - tell her about yoir feelings on the matter and what you need and she can help you work out best way forward...
And in the meanwhile we are here - so feel free to tell us anything you need to ?
